Brian Sr Brian Heinen Sr. M.D.

 President

After the death of his father, Dr. Brian Heinen Sr. literally had to run his way through college on a track scholarship before finally graduating from LSU Medical School in 1970. It is his respect for the dignity of every human person, from conception to natural death, that most imbues his personal and professional life, most notably impacting his doctor-patient relations. Charged with a mission, he and his children have set out to change the history of medical care so that no patient ever suffers exploitation through unjust structures in our society. He and his children founded Chronic Disease Solutions because they humbly believe that every patient deserves the right to be treated in accord with their human dignity.

Brian Heinen Jr.

CEO

The eldest of the family, Brian Heinen Jr set the standard for the Heinen brothers. After graduating from LSU with a bachelors in zoology, he returned home to work side by side with his father. Through the experience gained by managing his father’s medical clinic, his entrepreneurial spirit began to take flight. He believes that determination is key for achieving success. In 1989, Brian Jr’s sharp eye caught sight of the new regulation regarding federally mandated drug testing. He seized the opportunity to create a company that responded to that need. His determination led him to become one of the first and most successful Medical Review Officer Groups – Heinen Medical Review – nationwide. He is a founding member of Industrial Health and Wellness, LLC, and enjoys working side by side with his family. Although he is a “family first” kind of man, he makes it a priority to take a leadership role in joint projects with his father and brothers, particularly in helping our society grow a new health care model that meets the needs of families.
